STS Crimson And Clover, affectionately known as “Clover,” is a 2018 AMHR and ASPC registered small B-sized shetland mare standing at only 35.5". Her promising show career was cut short by an eye injury, but she has more than proven her worth in the breeding barn, producing her first foal in 2023 and a standout filly in 2025, STS Bo’s Silver Sage, who earned 2025 AMHR National Top Ten Filly Foal of Current Year, Over at the National Show.
Clover is sired by Strasslein Red E “The Conqueror,” an AMHR Halter Hall‑of‑Fame National Champion stallion who has been a consistent National Top Five performer and sire of National and Congress winners. “Redi” is a 2001 35.5" AMHR & ASPC Classic stallion by the legendary Bar‑G’s Rock “E” (HOF) and is an AMHR National Grand Champion who went on to sire multiple National Grand, National, and Congress Champions, including the 2005 AMHR Halter Horse of the Year and 2009 AMHR National Champion Get of Sire. His sire record includes 19 consecutive Grand Championships under 18 different judges between the 2004 and 2005 National shows, cementing his reputation as one of the influential modern Classic Shetland breeding stallions. On Clover’s dam side, she is out of Martin’s Mardi Gras Radiant Redhead (HOF), a 2004 AMHR/ASPC Classic mare and accomplished show horse. Radiant Redhead is a Congress Reserve Grand Champion Classic Mare, Under, as well as a Congress Reserve Champion Classic Junior Mare, Under, Congress Champion Classic 2‑Year‑Old Mare, and Congress Reserve Champion Classic Mare, Amateur Owned & Shown, and she has gone on to become a National Champion producer. Radiant Redhead is sired by B&L’s Rock “E” Mardi Gra, a 2x Superior Sire, and sire of many AMHR and ASPC National Champions. Her granddam Wall Street Illusions Hot Chile is a 2x Superior Dam, noted as the dam of multiple AMHR National Halter Champions and recognized for repeatedly producing top‑tier show horses. Further back, Royal Tamarix and Colorful Miss Wiser contribute Double Superior Dam and Congress Grand Champion producer titles, building a foundation of mares known for consistently producing elite offspring.
