Kestrel is a refined, eye-catching filly with balanced conformation, a clean, pretty head, and a light, cadenced way of going. She has matured exactly as we hoped, with a correct hip, straight legs, and a naturally forward stride that will serve her well in the show ring or as a future broodmare.

She is sired by the late Khonsu, giving her prestigious appaloosa bloodlines rooted in history and excellence. Paternally she carries the highly regarded Kakos line, known for consistently producing colorful, correct horses with strong structure and good minds.

Her dam is a daughter of Eminence, a stallion by Vermilyea Farms Hersheys Double Take out of Vermilyea Farms Solid Gold, tying her to respected lines recognized for type, movement, and reliability. Through this cross Kestrel is also closely connected to NFC Rowdys Rascal, bringing the legendary Rowdy influence into her pedigree. Eminence has recently proven his quality in the modern show ring, earning multiple Grand and Reserve Grand Champion titles in 2025, including a Congress Reserve Champion win.
